The title of this post is not a trick. CBD Buds – as well as conventional cannabis – are recyclable and can be utilized twice when using a vape.
Vaping is the preferred method for many people who want to get their CBD in a fast and effective way but without the various issues caused by smoking. While smoking tobacco is way worse than smoking CBD Buds, anytime you combust hot plant material into your lungs it irritates them and can cause breathing issues, hence rise in Vape fans.
That’s not to mention the pungent burning smell of the bud burning with paper in a joint and all the stinky smoke and ash that’s left over even from a bong or pipe. There are also unavoidable amounts of tar which enter the lungs when you smoke dry herbs, and then there’s the cost. Smoking cannabis is no way near as toxic or addictive as smoking tobacco; not even for a moment.
In fact, in many countries pre-cannabis prohibition in the 1920s, two types of pre-rolled cigarettes were sold by tobacconists; tobacco rolls and hemp rolls. The hemp rolls were sold to people who suffered from asthma and and were claimed to assist in opening the airwaves to help with breathing. With that said, there is little question in anyone’s mind that vaping is healthier than smoking and you also get to use your buds twice.
AVB (Already Vaped Bud)
AVB is known by a couple of names, but none of them are very sophisticated and could even be called crude. Some people call it AVB – Already Vaped Bud – while others prefer the old school term – Vape Pooh. Whatever you call it, AVB is the nicely toasted dry herb that’s left in the bowl of your vaporizer after you’ve extracted the majority of the active cannabis compounds. Depending on how many puffs you’ve taken and how hot the oven was pre-set to, you’ll be left with toasted herb that still has some life in it.
How to Use AVB
One you vape your CBD or cannabis buds in your vaporizer and taken them to the extraction level that you want, it’s time to empty the bowl and give it a quick brush and clean. Many people have a special container handy that they empty their AVB into. Once this container has filled up nicely it’s time to recycle those high-grade herbs, but this time to ingest them via the stomach.
Simply sprinkle around 0.5-1 gram of AVB onto a piece of bread with some chocolate spread on it, or add a generous sprinkling to a PB&J sandwich. You can ingest AVB in many ways, adding it to milkshakes, chicken or roast potatoes. Now, this writer isn’t suggesting for a moment that AVB smells or tastes good (as you’ll see when you try to eat it for the first time.) And while the taste isn’t great, it is bearable, and you get used to it quickly enough. But what are the advantages of eating AVB?
Advantages of AVB
People use Already Vaped Bud in a variety of different ways and for various reasons. The main advantage of recycling your buds is that when you ingest herbs via the stomach, it offers slightly different effects than when you smoke them. As there are still some active compounds inside the AVB, even if most of them were extracted during vaping, they enter the bloodstream via the stomach and offer effects.
The main difference is that when you take dry herbs via the lungs, the results are felt almost instantaneously due to immediate entry to the bloodstream. When you eat dry herbs, it takes the stomach up to two hours to process them, and effects are usually felt up to this time.
Recycling AVB is a fantastic, self-sustaining way to enjoy CBD or cannabis. While you remove dense smoke and ashtrays from your life, you replace that with whispy but potent vapor and the option to reuse your herbs at a time that suits you. AVB is also much-loved by people who run out of flowers and find themselves in a fix late one night. Nothing a yummy AVB sandwich can’t fix, and that is a huge advantage in itself.
