With all the new terminology around when it comes to CBD and cannabis, it can get confusing at times to know what people are talking about.
There’s CBD Vape Juice, E-Liquid, and also CBD Hemp Oil and Cannabis Tinctures. But which one is the right choice for you? Many people in this day and age are embracing cannabis and CBD as their go-to supplement when it comes to dealing with pain, anxiety, and insomnia; or just to relax and unwind at the end of a hard day.
CBD is gaining in popularity recently as it doesn’t make you high or stoned and that’s very appealing to people who want the benefits that cannabis offers but without feeling confused or disoriented. There are many ways to take CBD, and all of them offer slightly different effects depending on the user. Some people like to take their CBD in edible form or in CBD Oil Tinctures.
Others will prefer to smoke, or vape CBD in a vape pen that contains CBD extract as this enters the system faster than ingestion as the stomach is bypassed in the process. The stuff that you can vape is most commonly called CBD Vape Juice or CBD E-liquid. This is an oily liquid that combines CBD extract with food grade carrier liquids. This is quite different from raw CBD Flowers which are ground up and then added to food, smoked or vaporized and even more different from CBD Hemp Oil.
CBD Hemp Oil – also known as CBD Oil, CBD Tincture and CBD Drops is extracted CBD mixed with a carrier like MCT Coconut Oil and some natural flavorings. The oil is squirted under the tongue by a dropper and taken twice or three times a day.
You CANNOT vape CBD Hemp Oil, it can only be swallowed, either by itself, added to food or washed down with a water or fruit juice chaser. It takes up to two hours for the active ingredients to take effect as they need to go through the stomach which slows things down. These drops usually come in flavors like mint, chocolate, and cinnamon and they are also manufactured for pets.
As well as coming in a range of mouthwatering flavors, CBD Hemp Oil is also sold in different concentrations to meet every need. Beginners may wish to start with a 250mg tincture and taper up from there. Intermediate users will benefit more from a 500-700 mg CBD Hemp Oil Tinctures, and advanced users can buy CBD in concentrations of up to 2000mg.
Many users don’t mind waiting the hour or two for the CBD to start working as many claim the eventual feeling is more rounded and fuller than when CBD is vaped or smoked. That’s also down to personal preference, but there’s undoubtedly some truth to that.
It’s also worth noting that there are some great THC Oil Drops available on the market these days, but they mustn’t be confused with CBD Hemp Oil Drops. The THC variety will get you high; very high, as they usually contain large amounts of pure THC extract.
When choosing the right CBD Hemp Oil for you, try to opt for a flavor that appeals to your taste and start with a lower CBD concentration till you find your sweet spot. Also make sure that the CBD you are buying – no matter in which form – is backed by legitimate third-party lab reports that can attest to its efficacy, potency and most importantly, safety.
