If you haven’t purchased your tickets for MJBizCon 2022 yet, don’t fret! There’s still time to get tickets and make travel arrangements, and we’ll go over all the last-minute details with you to make sure you’re all squared away. We also have a coupon code so you can save on all regular packages.

About the Show

MJBizCon, which is now in its 11th year, has earned the title of ‘top cannabis business conference and tradeshow’. It’s the place to be if you want to meet and mingle with some of the most well-known figures in the industry, and learn everything that’s going on in the world of cannabis. With over 1,400 exhibitors, more than 140 speakers, and 320,000 square feet of exhibitor space, this is definitely the one industry trade show that you never want to miss.

What will be different about this year’s show, as far as organization goes, is that the entire floor will be categorized by four distinct segmented pavilions to help you pinpoint the exhibitors, network with ease, and not waste time wandering aimlessly through the entire space (we all know how easy it is to get disoriented and lose track of important booths when you’re there).

The four pavilions will be:

  • Cultivation Products and Services
  • Processing, Packaging and Lab Services
  • Retail and Dispensary
  • Business Services
MJBizCon 2022

There will also be a couple of on-floor lounges where you can relax, recharge, and enjoy some impromptu meetups – such as The Joint lounge and Elevation lounge. Also, being introduced this year will be The Patio, which is an outdoor hangout spot for those down-to-earth and organic networking opportunities. It will be open daily and includes a DJ, fun outdoor games, food trucks, a 360-degree photo booth, private lounges for VIP meetings, shaded seating, and other amenities.

Pre-Show Forums, Sessions, and After Parties

Starting off, there will be a number of educational pre-show forums for attendees to choose from including the MJBiz Finance Forum, MJBiz CBD and Hemp Forum, MJBiz Marketing Forum, MJBiz Science Symposium, reMind Psychedelics Business Forum, and Associations Day (dedicated to non-profits in the industry, over 40 of which are already registered).

Since this event is largely about socializing/networking and getting to know others in the industry, there will be quite a few fun after parties and side events going on as well. Some of the most talked about include the “Didn’t get in the party” Meetup, which will be going on every night of the event at the Cosmopolitan Chandelier Bar from 9pm till whenever.

The Sensi Soiree is another one, but that one is by invite only. And the two most anticipated events of the week are definitely the Shangri La Vegas, hosted by Farechild Events, by invite only; and the High Times Biz Bash, which you must RSVP for if you plan on attending. Both of those will take place on Thursday from 8pm to 12am. Learn more about Affiliated Events here.

Where to Stay / Getting Around

As usual, MJBizCon will take place at the Las Vegas Convention Center at 3150 Paradise Rd, Las Vegas, NV 89109. The 2021 convention was a bit early in the year and a lot of our friends from the cultivation sectors were unable to make it, so this year’s event will be a month later than the previous one.

There are many hotels in the area that are partnering with MJBizCon including Caesars Palace, Planet Hollywood, Encore. The Strat, and many more. There are plenty of options, from incredibly affordable ($53/night at The Strat) to high-end and lavish ($2,002/night at Encore). If you don’t mind commuting, staying around Fremont Street can be a lot of fun too.

For those of you who are driving to and from the convention center like I plan on doing, make sure to allot some extra time because the traffic gets very heavy in that area. Also, be prepared for no parking at the convention center, you may have to park at one of the neighboring lots or hotels and either walk or take some form of public transport.

One of the more convenient ways to get around the Las Vegas strip is by using their monorail system. The monorail makes 7 main stops, which serve as access points to various other hotels, casinos, and attractions, including the convention center. The seven stops are as follows: MGM grand station, Bally’s Paris Las Vegas, Flamingo/Caesars Palace station, Harrah’s/LINQ station, the convention center, and SLS station. Click here to learn more about the monorail system.

Tickets and Discounts

The official dates are November 15th to 18th, with the 15th reserved for pre-show forums and the 16th, 17th, and 18th as official show days. Attendee registration packages start at $349, but you can get a 10% discount using the coupon code “22CANNA10”, bringing the price down to only $314.
