When 44-year-old mother-of-two Dee Mani found out she had deadly breast cancer, she knew she didn’t want to go through chemotherapy, but did she have a choice?
After Dee was diagnozed with triple negative breast cancer – widely considered the deadliest form of breast cancer, she was understandably devastated, as were the rest of her family.
But Dee didn’t want to go through the physical and mental trauma of chemo, so she opted to take CBD instead, dropping one drop of the highly concentrated cannabis extract onto her tongue daily.
Remarkably, just five months after starting the at-home CBD treatment, Dee got the all-clear from her doctors, who were shocked and amazed by her situation. It was back in the spring of 2017 when Dee found a lump in her breast, but she rejected the doctor’s advice to have chemo as her older sister had died from that therapy when she got cancer.
As well as introducing one drop of CBD oil into her regime, Dee also meditated regularly and changed her eating habits. Paying roughly $30 a month, Dee feels that the CBD oil was the missing piece which actually cured her cancer, even if she can’t prove it.
Dee spoke to reporters about her plight, saying, “Because of what happened to my sister, there was no way I was having chemo or radiotherapy. At first when I spoke to the doctor I agreed to everything I was told, I said I’d have one year worth of chemotherapy but then I did my research,” she added, “After finding out about cannabis oil I started to put one drop into a capsule every night and take it before bed. Within four months I believe that I cured myself and then when I was given the all clear, I knew it was the cannabis that cured me.”
Due to the fact that more than 11,000 women a year die in the UK from breast cancer, Dee said, “Even though my cancer has gone I will take one capsule every night for the rest of my life.” But there’s even more to this story, as Dee also explained that CBD oil has helped her greatly with insomnia and chronic pain caused by slipped disks.
