The new Voices section, is your way to be heard by our comminity! Whether you are an industry expert, a patient, a doctor, an alchimist formulating products, or a spaceship captain, if you have a good story to tell, we are hear to listen. Unlike our regular evidence-based, informative and heavily researched articles, your voice is your own represetation, so be authentic with it.
All that said, we reserve the right to say no to your contribution, if we believe it is different from what we have in mind. Please don’t be offended if your work isn’t right for us, it is not you, you are perfect, but us…
In exchange for your efforts, if we choose to publish your voice, we will gladly share it with our community, and let you be heard by a wider audience.
Please be advised, that while free style writing is permitted, you must follow some guidelines, as specified below, to guarantee your work will be well-presented to our audience.

General Guidelines and Website Policies
- All content must be unique as we strictly DO NOT accept duplicate content. If you need to quote something, please make it short, give proper attribution to the source and use “your quote”.
- Watertight attribution of data, sources, quotations or other third-party content, to be included in the body of content via hyperlinks.
- STRICTLY NO backlinks or promotional links of any kind will be accepted unless pre-approved by our editors. Otherwise, links can only be to sources of information/related sources.
- Promotion of third-party products or services is strictly forbidden.
- You don’t have to be nice, but please try to be polite and avoid from using language in an offensive way. If you want your voice to be heard, it must be in such a way people will enjoy listening to.
- Cannadelics editors reserve the right to remove content and ban any guest post which contravenes our company policies, without notice.
- No self-promotion whatsoever is permitted, including direct promotion of your own website.
- You can only include a link to your personal website in your Gravatar Bio (see below)
- Republishing of your Voice on your own website or a third-party site is strictly forbidden. If you absolutely must do it, please ask us in-advance and link to the source.
Writing Style and Images
- You may use the words “cannabis”, “medical cannabis”, “Weed”, “ganja”, “marijuana”, “herb”, or any word you choose to. It is only a word, your experience is what counts.
- Try to write articles with at least 600 words. 1500 words are even better, but longer is not always better, please keep that in mind.
- Do you own the images you are using, or have the right to do so? If not, we might a problem, so let us know or take your own pictures and use them.
- Use Headings (1-4) when formatting articles.
- Your content must be 100% original and unique (apart from quotes, etc)
- Cannadelics editors will deal with tags, meta descriptions, images and internal links, so you don’t have to.
Gravatar Profile and Bio
- Guest writers must have a (free) Gravatar account, with an up-to-date face image/head shot. We also want a 3-5 sentence Bio written there, as this shows up at the bottom of every article on our site. Your Bio is the only place where you can link to your own website.
- Please visit Gravatar.com to obtain a profile there if you don’t have one already.
