The booming CBD market is creating a U.K. jobs bonanza – as the wife of the country’s future king regales its reported health benefits.

The Sun newspaper’s survey of a job website has highlighted over 1,000 posts up for grabs in the U.K CBD industry commanding salaries from £15,000 a year, to six figure ones.

The jobs on offer range  from specialist beauty therapists, to copywriters with CBD knowledge, shop staff and sales managers. With millions of people in the U.K. using CBD to help with a whole host of medical conditions from anxiety to psoriasis the market is set for even faster growth.

Flourishing Industry

CBD lawyer Nichola Craven tells The Sun: “CBD products are one of the U.K.’s fastest-growing consumer markets, with a flourishing jobs growth — from roles in manufacturing to sales and lab analysis.”

Sophia Ali’s CBD AmmaLife.co.uk was formed five years ago and is now on track to turn over £1million this year, she says.

The 43-year-old from from Bristol, adds: “This is an exciting industry to be a part of as there is so much opportunity in how we can influence and shape the U.K. market. There is so much opportunity for jobs growth from medical and legal specialists to digital marketers and scientists.”

Meanwhile Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall, made an appearance at North London’s Swiss Cottage Farmers’ Market earlier this week and during her visit she revealed her growing knowledge about CBD oil.

Ascends To The Throne

Camilla, 72, who will become queen consort when her husband Charles, The Prince of Wales, ascends to the throne had stumbled across the Hempen stall and, after trying a sample of hemp oil declared it ‘delicious’, reports The Express newspaper.

The report says she told the stall holder: “This oil is so fantastic. It helps so many people. I’ve spoken to people who have serious conditions such as epilepsy that have benefited from it.”

While Camilla may now be a fan, it may be some time before a entrepreneurial CBD advocate is able to secure that much-sought after mark of favour from the Royal household: ‘By Appointment To Her Majesty The Queen’.
