There’s An Increasing Demand For Zero-THC Products

Over the last few years, the demand for CBD products has grown exponentially for either treatment of specific medical conditions, overall wellness, or simply for pleasure and relaxation.

Science shows that CBD can be be used to relieve chronic pain, inflammation, seizures, anxiety, multiple sclerosis, and so much more. But not only that, a growing number of people are also using it recreationally as a way to relax and unwind after a long day. Although CBD’s popularity continues to spread, some people are still hesitant to use it because many products contain trace amounts of THC. Luckily, zero-THC products are becoming more prevalent in the market these days.

THC (tetrahydrocannabinol) is the psychoactive compound in cannabis. The legal cutoff for the level of THC permissible in CBD products is very low, less than 0.3% in the U.S. and 0.2% in Europe. However, even that limited amount can lead to people avoiding CBD altogether.

Military personnel and first responders can’t risk testing positive for THC

For example, active-duty military personnel or first responders – firefighters, paramedics/EMTs, and police officers – would naturally be reluctant to using a product that has any THC in it because the ever-so-slight chance of testing positive carries a tremendous risk. They could not only lose their jobs, but it could ruin their entire careers and futures. An option for zero-THC products would be tremendously beneficial for people working in these fields, especially considering that all of these jobs typically come with high levels of stress and anxiety.

Parents interested in using CBD to treat a sick child might also be unwilling to buy products with THC in them. Studies for the treatment of autism, childhood epilepsy, and other pediatric health issues have largely focused on CBD specifically. Most parents who are giving their child a supplement or medication prefer to use something with a proven track record, not to mention THC has a certain stigma about it so that’s usually out of the question.

Joy Organics zero THC products

Luckily, multiple companies are taking note and starting to sell products that are completely free of THC. This is definitely a smart and practical business move. It makes sense for obvious reasons like supply and demand, but also because industry laws are constantly changing and it can be hard to keep up. For instance, the European Union lowered the legal limit of THC in hemp & CBD products from 0.3% to 0.2% just last year. It’s much easier to just offer zero-THC products from the beginning instead of being right at the cusp of the legal limit and having to update your business model if the laws change.

Some companies selling high-quality, zero-THC products include Joy Organics, CBDMEDIC, and HempLucid. Check out their websites and see what products interest you, and don’t forget to use the coupon code CBDTESTERS at checkout for a discount of 20-25% off.
