If you’re passionate about medical cannabis and love writing, we have the perfect job for you.
CBD Testers, an established medical cannabis news & product reviews website is looking for a skilled and experienced news editor with a strong journalism background and experience editing news stories.
The candidate should be able to work under pressure with speed, accuracy and with a team of editors and reporters to help craft superior stories that rise above those of our competitors.
A nose for news and excellent story selection skills for our audience is a necessity.
The successful applicant must be a self-starter, have prior knowledge and experience writing in this industry and should be familiar with CBD & Medical Cannabis terms, medical conditions, research, regulations, products, brands etc.
Preferred applicants should be comfortable using social media and other digital tools to both write and disseminate news.
Requirements:
Expert understanding of news stories and of what type of stories sell and how to present them to global audiences;
Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced, dynamic environment;
Attention to detail and ability to multi-task;
The ability to work independently and at a fast pace;
Strong familiarity with SEO;
Making contacts for news leads;
Excellent English skills;
Familiar with Medical Cannabis terms
