Written by Jack Woodhouse

The majority of cannabis smokers in Europe are still smoking their cannabis alongside tobacco. Despite the well-known risks of this, it has been this way for a long time and shows little sign of coming to an end any time soon.

But recently a new product has emerged that may end up replacing the harmful tobacco in people’s joints. And that product is hemp flowers. Grown completely legally under licence, and with high amounts of CBD, the new CBD hemp flowers are proving to make a great alternative to tobacco.

Can you smoke hemp?

As hemp contains very little amounts of THC, the cannabis compound that gets you intoxicates, the idea of smoking hemp has never really been taken seriously. But is Europe now, that is changing.

A new market is emerging for expertly-grown, CBD-rich hemp buds (flowers). These buds look and smell like the real thing, they just don’t have any intoxicating effects. They are becoming very popular in Europe and the U.S. for exactly this reason. They offer much of the therapeutic effects of cannabis, but with none of the high.

Why you should replace tobacco with CBD hemp flowers

It is common knowledge that tobacco is seriously damaging to the human body and can lead to an array of health problems, including death. You’d think that would be enough for people to stop smoking it. But, unfortunately, it’s highly addictive.

With that in mind, the potential for hemp to replace tobacco as a filler in joints or cigarettes is huge. Not only does hemp contain the highly-beneficial cannabinoid CBD, it is also far less processed and treated by chemicals.

Cheaper

Not only in hemp much healthier than tobacco, it is also generally cheaper. CBD Hemp flowers with around 3% CBD can be bought under the guise of ‘hemp tea’ for very reasonable prices. With this product, you’re also getting a full profile of terpenes, flavonoids, and any other cannabinoids that may be present.

If you smoke tobacco, do yourself a favor and give CBD hemp a try instead. Your health will thank you.
